A subject of study, a branch of knowledge
Homeology Inspections LLC will thoroughly “STUDY” your home and inform you with a detailed easy to read report of its condition on the day of the inspection. Thus, reducing your stress so you can make a better well-informed decision and get back to deciding on how you’re going to decorate.
A home inspection is not a “pass” or “fail” test. It is to educate you on the current condition of the home. A professional home inspection is an unbiased, independent, visual, non-invasive, non-destructive inspection of all the major systems and components of a home. Everything that is reported on during the inspection is based on what is observed by the inspector on the day of the inspection.
I in no way can predict the future or what may or may not happen to these systems or components after the inspection is complete. The inspection report you receive will include my findings with pictures and a summary page listing the specific recommendations for repairs and/or defects found during the Inspection. This report will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your Inspection.
The length of time your inspection will take is based on many factors, such as, size, age, and condition of the home. Typically, an inspection will take about 3 hours or so. Please don’t feel obligated to stay with me the whole time. I know everyone gets busy. I will treat your home as if it were mine and promise to leave everything as it was before I arrived.
I will arrive a bit early and depending on conditions, I will walk around the property and take a few pictures then head to the roof. Once you arrive, we can meet and then continue with the rest of the inspection. I do encourage you to join me during the inspection process if you like. I am also happy to have your agent and even the listing agent, if desired. This allows us to discuss any issues that may arise during the inspection and answer any questions you may have. Joining me in the inspection will also help you to visualize the specific areas as your reading through your report. Please take a moment to read my Standards of Practice. This will help you to understand what is and what is not inspected during a home inspection.
